Why should our dogs miss out on the foodie fun when were exploring a new city? Well, the good news is that in Dublin, they dont have to! There are a vast array of dog-friendly cafés, restaurants and pubs in the city, and weve got some great dog-friendly food establishments to check out.

You dont need to go far to find our first spot. Amy Austin is located in the centre of Dublin on Drury Street. As well as being very dog friendly, the food here is delicious. Create your own charcuterie board from their meats, cheese and snacks selection, or try some of their small platesor both, your dog would want you to get both.

Our next restaurant offers food so colourful that its a real shame dogs are colourblindwe bet theyll still love accompanying you to Nutbutter regardless! Locally sourced, seasonal ingredients are used to create the BRIGHTEST bowls, tacos, rainbow pad thais and poke in this dog-friendly establishment. Get yourself down to Grand Canal Dock or Smithfield to try it out!

Your doggy companion is also welcome in many Dublin pubs. Head to Europes longest pub at the edge of Phoenix Park. Hole In The Wall dates back to 1651 and your dog is more than welcome to join you as you pop in for a pint and a meal from their à la carte menu. This pub is a great spot in both summer when they have a beer garden, and winter when you and your pooch can snuggle up by the fire here. Its also worth noting that they have the most incredible Christmas decorations in winter!

This next one is for the dogsbut luckily, its human-friendly, too. Under the low lighting and in the warm atmosphere of the Barbers Bar in Stoneybatter, you can enjoy a meal and a drink with your dog. The menu is Asian-inspired, but wed recommend the pawmen (chicken broth) with a refreshing bowl of San Pawlegrinno for your furry companion. If its your first time here, then be sure to ask if your dog can join the Doggy Wall which is covered in images of happy pups.

Lets talk cafés now. Urbanity is located just off the large square in Smithfield and almost everything here is created in-housethey even roast their own coffee beans and make their own homemade dog treats! The weekend and weekday menus differ so check them out ahead of time.

Two Pups Coffee on Francis Street in Dublins Liberties area offers speciality coffees and delicious brunch, as well as having a pastry chef who mixes up their pastry variety regularly! And of course, your pup is welcome too.

Lastly, your dog would probably recommend Brindle Coffee and Wine on Lennox Street. Their Instagram alone is a dog-lovers haven. Brindle Coffee and Wine specialises inorganic, low intervention wineandsingle origin coffeeand they're open for both sit-in and takeaway for customers and their pooches.
