Hello everyone!

There are many traditional music festivals this year, and among them I would like to mention two great festivals:
  •  the first one is the Belfast TradFest. The streets of Belfast will resonate with the melodies of traditional music as the Belfast TradFest 3rd annual Winter Weekend unfolds from February 23rd to 25th. Also, there's its summer edition this July within with a week-long schedule packed with workshops and an extensive lineup of concerts, lectures, sessions, and festival clubs.
  •  the second one is the Kilkenny Tradfest. The Festival takes place between the 15th and 18th March, coinciding with St.Patrick’s weekend, and promises an abundance of excitement with gigs, ceilis, sessions, Irish dance, and more. During the weekend there will be also masterclasses and workshops at the best city's historical locations such as Kilkenny Castle Tower and Rothe House.

If you are in Belfast or Kilkenny during these times, give it a thought: the music at Irish festivals is so hoppin' and the craic is mighty!

Hi Everyone!

Amazing list of festivals here and I'd like to add another one for all the foodies and food lovers!

This April 19th-21st, Waterford Festival of Food returns to Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. This is a FREE festival with tickets being sold for particular events within the festival across the weekend. It's open to anyone and everyone and suitable for all ages.

Some highlights from this year’s programme include guided taste tours, kitchen table talks with influential people from Ireland’s food scene and beyond, high profile guest chef dining events, sustainability workshops, and pop-up experiences in unusual locations. There will also be foraging walks, food waste talks, bus tours to farms and mountains, live cooking demos, and the festival’s famous market which is Ireland’s largest outdoor market, in Dungarvan’s market square on the final day. Essentially, 3 days of amazing food, activity, atmosphere and culture to immerse in.
