Hello Martin,

It sounds like you're planning a trip to Dublin in the future - how lovely to hear! 😊

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find an approved Norwegian speaking tour guide for you. You could however try posting on our Tourism Ireland Nordics Facebook page and see if you can find a useful contact this way! The Norwegian Embassy in Dublin also recommends this Facebook group for Irish-Norwegian relations where you could post your question as well. I hope you'll be able to find a guide! Should an English speaking tour guide or generally a tour provided in English be an option for you, let us know and we could share some suggestions with you.

To try some champagne in Dublin, I would recommend booking an Afternoon Tea session at one of the bigger hotels, such as The Westbury or The Merrion. What kind of experience is it you're looking for?

Best wishes,
Rebecca ☘️

Hello Martin,

For champagne tasting sessions, you'll want to check out some of Dublin's chic wine bars and upscale restaurants. 😊

Places like The Shelbourne, The Marker Hotel, Suesey Street Restaurant, Ely Wine Bar, The Green Hen (or The Westbury and The Merrion as Rebecca said) often host such tasting sessions.

I recommend you contact them directly for more information.

I hope you find what you are looking for! 🍾
