Hi Mariona!

How nice that you are planning to explore Cork!

I would suggest booking ahead of time as fares are cheaper on the Irish rail website than at the rail station. It would also save you time. On the other hand, you can still purchase tickets at the station if you aren't sure about your plans.

Do you already know what you'd like to see and do in Cork? Here are some of the top attractions in the city.

Talk soon,
Antoine

I'm planning a visit to Ireland then Isle of Man this spring. Will arrive in Shannon on May 27, 2024 and then fly to IOM from Dublin on May 30, 2024. First time visitor to Ireland so need some advice on things I should see and places to stay in the Shannon/County Clare area. Also would like to know if it is possible to travel from Shannon to Dublin by train.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
