Hello,
my wife Helena and I are planning to walk the Dingle Way this September.
As we are traveling with light luggage, we are going to use our feet and public transportation only. Can anybody tell me how I can plan to get to Tralee from the Airport in Dublin after our arrival?
Is it best to get to Dublin City first or are there good connections from the airport ?

Kind regards
Albin

Hello Albin,

How exciting that you and Helena are planning to visit so soon!
The website Transport for Ireland is a great help when planning public transport journeys in Ireland. One route would be taking the Citylink 712 towards Limerick City. This is a quick route between Dublin Airport and Limerick. From Limerick it continues to Tralee. The website also offers other alternatives directly from the airport, so there's no need to get to Dublin City first!

If you haven't seen it yet, the official website for the Dingle Way gives some good insights into what awaits you here. Have you already planned what you'd like to do in Dingle?

Our website has a lovely 3 day itinerary around Dingle Peninsula, showing you the beauty of this region and suggesting things to do. Feel free to take a look!

I hope this helps,
Annika
