Hello everybody,

I am new to this discussion board plus I am quiet new to Ireland as well. However, I have been there ages ago as youngster ;-). Nice place and nice people :-) - great to come back after x-mas over new year. Therefore one question:

Any recommendations for new year's eve in Dublin? My wife, me and my daughter (17). - music wise, I guess it's more Rock, Hard Rock or even Metal. Or Classic ;-). However, we might also visit an event without music...all recommendations are welcome. Thanx folks!

Hallo Volker,

Welcome to our Community forum, it's great to hear about your plans to celebrate New Year's Eve with us! 😍

Dublin will have plenty of fun options for you and your family during this magical season! ✨ For the big event, I can highly recommend the New Year’s Festival which takes place over 3 days with a wonderful programme across beautiful venues in the city. You can find various other events during the time of your stay on pages such as Visit Dublin and Eventbrite. Local venues and pubs should have New Year's events advertised on site or on their websites, such as, for instance, Whelan's Bar. (Please note, children are only allowed in pubs until 9 pm.)

Check out these music experiences in Dublin too, and should you be interested in traditional Irish music, these are the places to be!

Are there any attractions you're curious to discover during your stay as well?

Happy event planning! 🎆

Liebe Grüße
Rebecca
