As someone who is from the county of Mayo in western Ireland, I believe the region offers an incredible variety of natural landscapes. From the unique sea stack at Downpatrick Head to the highest cliffs in Ireland on Achill, or indeed Ireland's iconic Croagh Patrick, there's so much to see and do. If you're lucky enough with the weather, a must see is Keem Beach on Achill. I've put together a comprehensive list of things to do and places to visit for those putting the county on their itinerary. Hope it helps with your Ireland plans!

Hi Niall,

Great to see someone showcasing the beauty of Co. Mayo!

Keem Beach is definitely a favourite, and the views from Croagh Patrick are indeed unforgettable. Another hidden gem is Silver Strand/ Thallabawn Beach near Louisburgh—so peaceful and unspoiled.

Looking forward to checking out your list for more inspiration!
