Contact request for Donegal Islands

Hello, my name is Julien Guéraud. I'm a french documentary filmmaker.

I specialize in films about personal quests, nature and the environment. I'm particularly interested in Man's relationship with Nature.

I'm interested in the people who have benefited from the government's “Our Living Islands” initiative in Donegal, which aims to attract year-round residents to Irish islands.

I'm looking for a way to get in touch with these people who have settled - or are going to settle - on the Donegal islands as part of this program. Would you have any leads for me?

While I don't know anyone directly, I may have a few leads to help connect you with people who relocated through the scheme : 

Donegal County Council is very active locally and may be best placed to connect you with participants. You can reach them here

In addition, the Department of Rural and Community Development oversees the national roll-out of the Our Living Islands scheme. Their dedicated page includes background information and contact details.

The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage was also involved in approving the applications for the Donegal islands, in case they have contacts
