I recently travelled to Ireland to walk the Wicklow Way.
I arrived at Dublin airport and wanted to buy a Leap card for bus travel. I tried the two locations listed on the Leap website, namely the Spar in terminal 2 arrivals and WH Smith in terminal 1. Spar said their machine no longer works and WH Smith claimed not to sell them.
Not having any small change l was therefore required to pay 5 euros on the number 16 bus.
It seems ridiculous that that is no tourist office or TFI office at the airport to enable visitors to buy bus passes.

Hello John,
I'm sorry to hear you experienced difficulty purchasing a Leap Card while at Dublin Airport. I hope you still enjoyed your time here in Ireland—what was your impression of walking the Wicklow Way?
Regards,
Eoin
