Are joggers and Nordic walkers allowed to run /power walk on the greenways or is it strictly for cyclists only?

Hi Majella! That's a great question 😊

I can reassure you: Ireland’s greenways are designed for both cyclists and pedestrians, so joggers and Nordic walkers are very welcome.

You can find more about greenways on our website, and if you’re also interested in more hiking routes, check out Sport Ireland Outdoors and WalkNI.

Do you have plans to visit anytime soon?

Cheers,
Antoine
