Hi, landing Knock airport Sun June 7.
Propose day 1 accommodation in Sligo/Donegal area, then up to the north coast for a couple of days exploring, then Ballina/Achill by Thursday.
How does that sound?
After accommodation suggestions from a B&B to self catering AirBnb, pub etc
Thanks in advance
Daithi

Hi David,

So exciting that your Ireland trip is coming up in June! What a beautiful area of the country you've picked to explore.

There's plenty to see and do in Sligo, so perhaps you could do two nights there to use Sligo as a base to explore further.
Malin Head in Donegal is a real highlight too, along with Donegal's rugged coastline. There are also lots of places to stay all over the County. Ending on Achill Island will be magical - did you know that this island is part of the Gealtacht and they still speak Irish?

There are plenty of self-catering accommodations, as well as B&B's. From mentioning you'd like to stay in a pub I figured you might be open to some unique stays: check out Irish Landmark Trust for some historical accommodations - they have a lighthouse in County Sligo and a railway house in County Donegal!

Have fun planning and let me know if there are any further questions!

Le meas,
Alinde
