Hi Hayley,
What a lovely idea to spend some time in
Titanic Belfast during your day in Belfast. Usually, visitors spend around 3 to 4 hours in the museum (two hours for the Titanic Experience; one hour for the SS Nomadic; and one hour for the Discovery Tour), so that could be doable.
There's a regular bus service running to Belfast City Centre; the Airport Express 300. This will take you to Belfast Grand Central Station in about 50 minutes. Once you get off at the city centre, you can take a regular bus (or taxi) to get to the museum. A taxi would take about 10 minutes, a bus 20. You could also walk for 40 minutes.
You can find more information about your options here.Transport for Ireland's
Journey Planner is a great tool to find public transport options around the island.
To get to
Crumlin Road Gaol from Titanic Belfast, you'll need around 35 minutes: You take the G2 back to the city centre. Crumlin Road Goal is a 20-minute walk from there. If you’re in a hurry it can be easily accessed by public transport. The 57 and 12B from the city centre have a stop directly outside the gaol. The self-guided gaol tour should take about 60 to 90 minutes, and the guided tour is 90 minutes.
I'd personally say it might be a bit much to visit both museums in the same day, because I'd feel rushed and might not be be able to fully enjoy the experience. You could also choose to spend your afternoon getting some food in
one of Belfast's pubs after visiting Titanic Belfast.
Just to be sure: All visitors require an
ETA if they are travelling to the UK, including Northern Ireland, for up to 6 months for tourism, visiting family and friends, business or study.
I hope this helps!
