Hello Paola,
Thank you for joining the Community!
It's a great question, and you have already done a fair bit of research by the sounds of it! I'll gladly brainstorm along with you and the other Community members on what would make a perfectly relaxing trip for you when you come visit the island at the end of April.
Here are some ideas:
Staying in
Galway for one or two (or maybe even three) nights could be a great idea, as it's a wonderfully bustling city with easy access to the many nearby natural and cultural sites. You will definitely find pubs with live music here.
Since you are looking for a relaxing time, moving to a smaller place will provide you with a more rural and quiet experience. A stay in Doolin, therefore, is a great idea. From there, you can also easily reach the rugged and windswept
Aran Islands.
As time is a bit limited on this trip, and you want to focus on relaxing, perhaps it's an idea to not change accommodation every night? Especially because there is plenty to explore and enjoy in and around
Galway and Doolin!
I hope this is helpful and I'm curious to see what other Community members will come up with. For now, enjoy the preparations for your trip next month!
Vera
