If I were to cycle the complete route, are there any luggage transfer services, as you would find in Europe on the Caminos?

Hi Phil! A full cycling tour sounds like an incredible adventure!

Hassle-free luggage transfers are widely available! Most cyclists coordinate these directly through regional providers who handle the logistics seamlessly from door to door.

Depending on the specific route or region you are planning to tackle, here are a few dedicated baggage transfer services you can check out:
  • For the South & West Coast: You can look into Ireland Walk Hike Bike, which offers eco-friendly luggage transfers, or The Pathway Porter, which services routes spanning all the way from Cork up to Westport. If you are doing the Dingle Peninsula specifically, Dingle Way Luggage is a good option.
  • For the East Coast: If your itinerary lines up near the east, Wicklow Way Baggage provides door-to-door services throughout South Dublin and Wicklow.
Also, you can check out official route networks via Sport Ireland Outdoors and our Cycling Guide on the official website!

Hope this helps! 💚
