Hello,
Looking for some advice on planning a multi-generational trip for 8 people this July. We fly in to Dublin then have 2 nights in Doolin, 2 nights in Cahersiveen and end with 2 nights in Dublin. We will have two cars. Looking for things to do, must sees and great places to eat.
Thank you!

Hello,

How lovely to hear that there's a group of you coming over for a few days and looking for things to see and do. It sounds like you have your accommodation and car hire all sorted. We do have some more information on driving in Ireland, and it's worth mentioning as you will no doubt be using the motorways, that there are toll charges in place. The M50 by Dublin Airport has a barrier-free toll and the fee must be paid online, by phone or at a Payzone shop. 🚗

So, things to do in Doolin and the surrounding area. A popular spot in County Clare, near the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Caves, and the Aran Islands. The busy village has plenty of pubs and restaurants to fill your 2 nights.

Travelling down to Cahersiveen, County Kerry, you can take in the Kerry Cliffs and use the Killimer-Tarbert ferry as a shortcut. Once in Cahersiveen, Killarney is worth a visit as part of your time on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle, of course. 🌞

The shortest journey back to Dublin will be just over 4 hours, and there will be plenty to see and do in and around the city for your last 2 days. Packed with attractions and places to eat, you will have all of your time easily filled.

I hope this helps with your plans, feel free to get back in touch if you need any more help!
