The full programme for the 2027 commemorations of the Easter Rising hasn't been announced yet. However, they will normally take place around Easter Sunday and Easter Monday (28 and 29 March 2027). Key events and ceremonies usually take place outside the General Post Office (GPO) on O'Connell Street in Dublin, as well as the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin Castle and Collins Barracks. I'd encourage you to keep an eye on websites such as
Heritage Ireland closer to the date for event details. There generally isn’t a dress code, so comfortable clothing suitable for the weather should be fine.
If you're interested in the history of these events, you might also find it interesting to visit places such as the GPO museum,
Kilmainham Gaol or the Glasnevin or Arbour Hill cemeteries.
