Good day to all on this wonderful sight. I was very fortunate to go to Ireland for a month in late June on my own to explore your wonderful country. I had the most amazing time with one issue with the house I stayed in but the rest of it was brilliant. Lucky it was at the start of my journey.
I was in Belfast to look up ancestors in Ireland and it was Banbrdige I went to and what a lovely town that is. I didn't find anyone but wondered if anyone out there may be able to help me out? My great grandfather was James Gawley born in Banbridge 1835 married Margarte Currie from Scotland I am tryling to get info so I can surprose my mom for her birthday in Sept, I only know a few things. I tool a whole bunch of pictures that are from the way the town was in Banbrdieg back when he was there from a book in the Welcome centre. I also took pics of the way it is now.
Amy help would be so helpful as this would mean the world to myself and my family. If there is a way I could get pics of him or something even better,
Thanlk you for your time and effort. I also want to move to your amazing country no word of a lie, I have been home in Canada and miss your beautiful place you call home every day.Slainte
