Question received by e-mail from Member Gerald Barry:
I toured beautiful Ireland recently. I rented a car in Dublin for nine dollar's a day how ever the insurance was over one hundred dollar's a day. I had to bring a letter from my doctor and a letter from my insurance agent to prove I was in good health and was accident free for five years? Actually I never was involved in any accident in 65 years of driving.
My question is? I will be 82 on March 22 is there any way I can save on my nest visit as I am on a fixed income.
Thank you - Gerald

Hi Gerald,

Currently the following car hire companies do not have an upper age limit:

Avis - www.avis.co.uk

Enterprise - www.enterprise.co.uk

Europcar - http://visit-belfast.com/things-to-do/member/europcar

Please contact the car hire companies directly for further information.

Hope this helps.
