If you want to spend some time on Haven Coast,  no trip is complete without a trip to the Gaeltacht Island of Cape Clear, the southernmost inhabited island of Ireland.
You take the ferry from Baltimore and you get your ticket on board.
The journey takes you through Roaring Water Bay with spectacular views of the coast and often whales and dolphins can be seen following ferry.
B&B accommodation is a great option and Ard na Gaoithe is the only Fáilte Ireland registered B&B on the island.
Ask for room 3, so you can sleep with gentle sweep of the beam of Iconic Fastnet Rock Lighthouse passing by.
Situated on farm with homegrown herbs and free range eggs from farm flock.
Loads of breakfast options including vegetarian, gluten free and vegan.
Owners are also fluent Irish speakers.
Activities on the island hiking, photography, whale and dolphin watching, bird watching, kayaking, sailing, fishing boat trips.
Events include: St. Ciarán's Day, St Patick's day Parade, Easter egg hunt, family fun week and storytelling festival are worth a visit!
A lovely hidden gem on Haven coast! Cape Clear B&B
