Hy I plan to visit Dublin in November with my girlfriend. I'm not vaccinated and I come from Italy. Here we have the Eu Digital Covid Certificate (Green Pass) with a negative antigen test. Will it be enough to come to Ireland or do I need a Rt-Pcr test ?

Ciao Enrico! 😀

I'm happy to hear that you and your girlfriend are planning to come and visit Ireland and I'll make sure you can have all the info you need so you can visit the island and enjoy your holiday. 👌

To travel to the Republic of Ireland first of all you need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form within 72 hours before you arrive in Ireland.
Also, as stated on the official page of the government website: "You also have to have appropriate valid proof of vaccination or recovery or to present evidence of a negative RT-PCR result from a test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival into the country. A relevant EU Digital COVID Certificate based on vaccination, recovery, or a negative RT-PCR test constitutes valid proof.
Non-RT-PCR tests are not accepted when traveling to Ireland and passengers with a Digital COVID Certificate based on a non-RT-PCR test (for example, antigen tests) require proof of an additional negative RT-PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival."

As you can see, you will need an RT-PCR test. Check also the public health measures in place right now.

For more info and useful links, please check our Traveller's Health page, where you can find info on travelling to Northern Ireland as well if you wish; and to make sure you have everything before your departure, have a look at our checklist here.

If you want to make sure you won't miss out on anything in Dublin, take a look at our hub page. 😉

Grazie mille !
