Hi to all! I'm Italian citizen, and I will go to Dublin. Now, to go to Amsterdam from Dublin, need I a passport? The air company ask me the passport. Why?

Sorry for my English.

Ciao Renzo!

Welcome to our Community!

As you can read on this article of our website (in Italian), EU Citizens can use their national identity card to travel to the Republic of Ireland, so you won't need a passport in order to flight to Dublin.

Anyway, I suggest that you get in contact with the airline you're flying with and ask again if and why they need any additional documents.

Moreover, check out this page about Dublin to know more about the city and its attractions.

Buona giornata! ☘️
