Hi Martijn,

That's an amazing video! Thanks for sharing!

It really looks like you've had a great time. I love how you've truly experienced all sides of Ireland, from culture, music and sports to nature and history. That's a great little explanation of hurling too!

Did you guys prepare the whole trip beforehand, or did you leave room to check day by day where you wanted to go and what you wanted to see? And do you have any advice for others planning a trip like this?

Have a great day!

Noor

Hey Noor,

Apologies for the late response, but better late than never, am I right? ;)
Thanks for all the compliments. Normally when we plan a trip, we make a small list with potential stops. But we hate the feeling of having a plan to stick to. So we just plan day by day. Around 5 o'clock we normally check for accommodations, based on where we're at and what we wanna do the day after. Planning like this helps us giving the time we wanna take at some of the locations, besides that you sometimes find a 'hidden gem' that you just simply couldn't plan for.

If I could give you any tips it probably will be:
- make a small list with things you don't want to miss.
- don't care too much about the weather forecast (weather can change at any minute) Would be a shame if a bit of rain ruins your trip.
- ask locals. Irish people are very friendly and easy to talk to.

Just let me know if you have any other questions and enjoy your future trip to Ireland!

Kind regards,
Martijn
