This is a great list!

I’ve been to Winterval in Waterford quite a few times and always enjoy it. It’s easy to spend a full afternoon and evening there, especially if you take your time exploring the smaller side streets where some of the best food stalls are. I usually go in the late afternoon so I can catch the lights once it gets dark, as that’s when the place really comes alive.

One of my favourite parts is the local crafts section. You can find proper handmade gifts and chat with the makers, which makes it feel more personal than a regular market.

I’d really like to get to the Belfast Christmas Market one year. I’ve seen plenty of pictures of the City Hall with all the stalls set up in front of it, and it looks really impressive. I’m keen to try the range of food on offer and to see how the market mixes local traders with international stalls. It also seems like a good excuse to spend a day in the city, walk around, and take in a few more sights.
