Hello. Does anyone know if there is a ferry linking Magilligan to Greencastle ? I saw a pier of various maps but cannot find any confirmation. Thanks

Hi Simona Thank you for your inquiry. We are glad to inform you that this ferry does exist between Magilligan and Greencastle. This is a summer service and will run from 1st July 2017 until 17th September 2017. Thanks to our friends at Visit Derry for answering your question, that's exactly what the community forum is for.
Where are you planning on visiting while you are over with us? Having used the service in the past, it certainly cuts out a long drive if you have been on the Causeway Coast and fancy a wee bit of time in County Donegal.

I will be there around 19 & 2078- The ferry will make mush easier visiting Inishowen.

from august 16 to 25, from Belfast to Dublin counterclockwise, unfortunately my itinerary is in Italian but I am sure you can easily understand the routing anyway, it is not complete yet, but almost done

Hi Simona
We have received an update on this Ferry service between Magilligan and Greencastle. Although this was announced as beginning today (1st July 2017) the company have informed us that they have delayed their start date for this service. The company will announce the new start date for this service next week. We will keep you informed as soon as we know.
